January Science Bag asks ‘Weird Weather or Climate Change?’

From Hurricane Sandy to the drought last summer, concerns are growing that climate change is altering weather events that impact our day-to-day lives.

Kyle Swanson, associate professor of Mathematical Sciences will talk about weather trends in his Science Bag lecture, “Weird Weather or Climate Change?,”  Fridays in January at 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 13 at 2 p.m.

Learn about the science behind how climate change might impact our weather, the difficult nature of the randomness of weather, and what the weather of the future might look like.
