March 7, 10 a.m.
In celebration of Year of the Arts at UWM, the Peck School Theatre Department invites the entire campus to a FREE matinee performance of “Blood Wedding” on Thursday, March 7 at 10 a.m on the Mainstage.
Written by Garcia Lorca and directed by Sheri Williams Pannell, this 20th-century masterpiece, based on a true story, tells of a vendetta and a bride who runs away with the son of an enemy family. Nobel Laureate Lorca investigates desire, repression, ritual, constraints and commitments in this soaring Spanish classic.
We hope you’ll join us at this special performance!
