MILWAUKEE –Undergraduate researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will have a chance to share their work this week.
Six UWM undergraduates will display their work at the 10th annual Posters in the Rotunda on Wednesday, April 17, at the State Capitol in Madison. The event is part of a statewide presentation on how University of Wisconsin System research powers Wisconsin. The day will also include an alumni trip to the capitol and legislative visits by students, advisers, alumni and friends of the UW System.
On Friday, April 19, UWM will host the Fifth Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Wisconsin Room of the UWM Union, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd. More than 200 students will share poster and oral presentations about their faculty-advised research work from 1-3:30 p.m. (3-3:30 is a special presentation in the Union Theatre on the Avant Garde Coffeehouse).
Last week, 50 UWM students took part in the National Conference on Undergraduate Research in La Crosse.
