Musical acts Matt & Kim and Mac Miller will perform at the Marcus Amphitheater on Friday, Sept. 6 as part of UWM’s largest annual event of the year, PANTHERFEST. Local talent Pizzle will open for the PANTHERFEST headliners.
The festivities begin at 3 p.m. with the Panther Street Festival at the iconic UWM fountain, just east of Spaights Plaza. Food trucks, eurobungy, ziplining, yard games and a cash cube are just some of the attractions. Ticketholders can take a free shuttle from campus to the Summerfest grounds following the festival. Amphitheater gates open at 7 p.m.
Free tickets are still available for UWM students. One free PANTHERFEST ticket per student can be picked up in the UWM Union Concourse or at the “Ask Me” tents around campus.
Faculty and staff can purchase up to two tickets, and UWM students can purchase up to two additional tickets at $40/each at the UWM Student Union Information Center in the Union Concourse. Alumni can purchase up to two tickets at $25/each.
