Network Degradation on Southeast Quadrant of the UWM campus

*What happened*
At approximately 3:29 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, wired and wireless connections on the UWM network started experiencing degradation on the southeast quadrant of the UWM campus.

*What is currently happening*
The primary causes of the service interruption have been identified and remediation is ongoing. The wired network has been stable. There are continuing issues with wireless connectivity. Updates will be posted to ITStatus (http://www4.uwm.edu/technology/itstatus/) at regular intervals.

You may experience an intermittent network connection while the network engineers work to isolate the issue, but service may not be reliable.

*What is being done*
Network engineers are working to identify the root cause of the problem. At this time there is no estimated time of resolution. Updates will be posted to ITStatus (http://www4.uwm.edu/technology/itstatus/) at regular intervals.
