Mark your calendars! This year’s 15th Annual Engelmann Hall Silent Auction and other fundraising activities will be held on Thursday, October 31st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. As you may know, this event is held in collaboration with the employees of Engelmann Hall in the undertaking to raise funds for the State and University Employees’ Combined Giving Campaign (SECC). Last year’s event generated a donation to the SECC of over $1,100.00.
Please consider donating one or more items to this worthy event, which will again be held in the basement of Engelmann Hall outside the offices of the Center for Urban Initiatives and Research (Rm. B50). Book donations are also encouraged and appreciated. The deadline for submitting donated items is Monday, October 28, 2013.
Please also consider purchasing your lunch (11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p..m) at the event. A lunch of sub sandwiches with chips and a soda will be $3.50 with individual items also available for purchase — chips and sodas will be $0.50 each and a sub sandwich for $2.50.
