Dec. 7, Interfaith Older Adult Holiday Party

The CCBLLR is asking for your help securing donations of new hats, scarves, blankets, bus tickets, gift certificates, etc., to be wrapped by student volunteers and given as gifts for the older adults attending the Senior Center Holiday Party.

The Center for Community-Based Learning, Leadership, and Research is thrilled to be coordinating the 3rd annual Holiday Party with the Clinton Rose Senior Center, located in the Harambee neighborhood, on Saturday, December 7, 2013.  The CCBLLR will be bringing over 30 student volunteers to mingle with older adults, serve a holiday meal, and facilitate holiday-themed games.

The CCBLLR is asking for your help securing donations of new hats, scarves, blankets, bus tickets, gift certificates, etc., to be wrapped by student volunteers and given as gifts for the older adults attending the Senior Center Holiday Party.  Your generous donations will go a long way to brightening the holiday for local older adults.

Please help us make the holiday brighter for older adults in the Harambee neighborhood and consider donating these items for us to wrap and give!  Donations are needed by Friday, December 6th at 11:30am, and can be dropped off at any time to the CCBLLR, located in the Union, room G28.
