Panthers play Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
The Panthers (16-10, 12-2 Horizon) earned the right to host by winning their ninth regular season league title in the last 11 years.
As the top seed, Milwaukee gets a bye into the semifinals and will play at 4:30 p.m. Saturday against the lowest remaining seed from Friday’s action. Valparaiso is the second seed and also gets a bye into the semis, opening tournament play Saturday at approximately 7 p.m.
Friday’s matches start at 4:30 p.m. with fourth-seeded Green Bay facing fifth-seeded Youngstown State. Then at 7 p.m., third-seeded Oakland squares off with sixth-seeded Cleveland State.
Sunday’s championship match is at 1 p.m. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
Tickets for each day of the tournament are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and children ages 3-12 and $4 for groups of 10 or more. Students of all Horizon League schools are admitted free with a valid school ID.
