Dear UWM faculty, staff and students
On Monday, Dec. 30 from 12:01 to 9 a.m., there will be interruptions to Internet access and IT services to accommodate critical software upgrade maintenance on the UWM network.
What will be the impact on IT services?
During the maintenance window, there will be interruptions to:
- UWM IT enterprise services including pantherLINK, pantherFILE, PAWS, UWM websites, and the UWM Content Management System (CMS)
- Connecting to IT services using an ePantherID and password
- UWM WiFi service
- Access to network resources, IT services, and the internet to and from all UWM-owned buildings, including those outside the main campus
- Access to UWM network resources and IT services from the internet
Depending on service and location, there may be multiple interruptions during the maintenance window. These interruptions are anticipated to be short. Faculty, staff and students using an IT service during the maintenance window may be disconnected and should try to reconnect when the maintenance window has concluded.
