Graduate Student Funding for Research & Language Study in Latin America

The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) is looking to identify Masters and Ph.D. students from across all
Schools and Colleges whose academic course work and research interests focus on Latin America and/or the Caribbean.

CLACS is calling for applications for the summer Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS) funded by the U.S.
Department of Education to promote the study of less commonly taught languages, like Brazilian Portuguese or indigenous regional languages (ie-Quechua, Mixtec). These fellowships are up to $7,500 each and there are 3-4 awards persummer.
