The women take on Green Bay at 2 p.m. at the Klotsche Center. The Panthers beat the Phoenix in the first matchup between the two teams, recording Milwaukee’s first win over its in-state rival in nearly eight years. The game is also the annual Pink Out, which raises awareness for breast cancer. The team will be wearing special pink jerseys and commemorative t-shirts will be available for those making donations. Then in the evening, the men play Valparaiso at 7 p.m. at the U.S. Cellular Arena. The Panthers are coming off a huge win at first-place Green Bay last weekend and now Milwaukee can move into third place in the Horizon League standings with a victory over the Crusaders. (Read more.)
As always, students are admitted free with a valid UWM student ID and free transportation is available to the men’s game downtown. Buses will take students to the game between 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m., with pickups at Sandburg, Cambridge and Riverview. Buses return to all three locations immediately after the game.
