UWM Summer Wellness Classes

The Best Place to Work Initiative is offering the following activities to help improve overall well-being, reduce stress levels and keep you active during the Summer. Sign up today and let’s continue to make UWM the Best Place to Work!

To register for the classes listed below, go to the Wellness Calendar.

Once at the calendar, click on the desired class by locating the appropriate start date. The details of the class will pop up, click on the Register to this Event link to complete the registration form.

Payment is due by Monday, May 19, 2014. Checks or exact cash only. Checks should be made out to UW Milwaukee Human Resources and delivered to Engelmann Hall Room 125, Attention: Susan Curtis.

Reminder: If you have any health issues or if you do not regularly engage in physical activity we recommend that you consult with your physician BEFORE beginning an exercise program. There will be NO refunds issued after the start of the classes listed below. Also be mindful of others that may be on the waiting list for these classes. If after registration you cannot attend, please cancel your registration.

Wednesdays: Yoga with Jean Torrey-Camey

Yoga practice is an excellent way to build strength, stamina, flexibility, and balance while at the same time bringing our attention to what we’re doing in the body, quieting the mind and reducing stress.
