UWM was at the center of Wisconsin State Fair excitement, as staff, students, faculty – and Pounce the Panther – greeted visitors during UWM Day.
Strategically located near the Original Cream Puff Pavilion on Sunday, UWM took over State Fair’s Central Park and performance stage with 14 campus schools and departments represented.
From the famous Roar Like a Panther contest to cooking demonstrations and free samples at UWM Restaurant Operations, thousands of visitors were treated to a combination of entertainment and education.
There was a flying drone, an underwater robot, Panther face painting, music and exhibitions by UWM athletes and coaches.
UWM student photographer Kenny Yoo captured images of the day of fun, and dodged a few raindrops along the way.
